Key Responsibilities
- Product Planning & Selection Assist in selecting and sourcing products based on market trends, customer preferences, and company goals.
- Inventory Management Monitor stock levels, ensure optimal inventory, and prevent overstock or shortages.
- Supplier & Vendor Coordination Negotiate with suppliers for better pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Sales & Performance Analysis Track sales data, analyze product performance, and recommend improvements.
- Store & Display Management Ensure that products are well-displayed and attractively presented in stores or online platforms.
- Market Research Stay updated on competitors, industry trends, and consumer behavior to refine merchandising strategies.
- Promotion & Pricing Strategy Work with marketing teams to plan discounts, sales campaigns, and promotional events.
- Collaboration with Teams Coordinate with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of merchandising plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in merchandising, retail, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
