Job description

Dyamed Biotech is a Leading Distributor of Innovative Skin and Woundcare medical devices to Hospitals and Pharmacies in Malaysia and in the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Medical Representative (MR) in Johor.

Established since 2004, Dyamed has an existing client base amongst Hospitals, Pharmacies and Specialist clinics throughout Malaysia.

As a Medical Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our range of innovative and antimicrobial Woundcare, Burns and Skincare products to or existing and new healthcare professionals in Hospitals, Government Clinics and Pharmacy across Johor.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to bring new and better treatment to patients requiring burn and woundcare treatment to healthcare professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Engage with existing and potential customers, including Government and Private hospitals, Goverment clinics and Specialist across a number of disciplines.
• Engage with the pharmacist and retail sales assistants of independent and chain pharmacies.
• Acquire a Deep Functional Knowledge of our Medical Devices and communicate the features and benefits of products to healthcare providers (HCPs).
• Provide and monitor sampling of our medical devices to HCPs.
• Maintain a detailed record and follow up with customer interactions and sales activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Organize and participate in Continuous Medical Education, Workshops and Exhibitions.
• Provide feedback and insights to the product development team to enhance Dyamed's offerings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in a sales or customer-facing role within the healthcare industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Prior working experience in the Healthcare industry, Pharmacy or medical device distribution would be an advantage.
• Proactive and Strong customer relationship management skills to effectively handle client inquiries and concerns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in a healthcare-related field (Medical Science, Food Technology or Biomedical engineering).
