Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre – Melaka, Melaka

Responsibilities

• Understand the operation system of Medical Record Department.
• Facilitate and assist in insurance claims /Medical Report preparation, which include walk in patient, internal staff and Medico-Legal cases.
• Classify and perform ICD coding for all in- patients, check and compile coding report before integration the data into SMRP.
• Assist the Superior in the administration of the Medical Records department.
• Assist to ensure the department meets or exceeds its objectives; and the mission, policies, objectives and core values of the Company are embraced and promoted in work place.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years working experience in managing medical records / health information management system, from any established medical organization
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Honest with pleasant personality
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
