Job summary

A healthcare organization in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to provide care and support in medical settings. The ideal candidate must hold a diploma in medical assisting, be registered with the Medical Assistant Board, and have valid annual practicing certificates. Responsibilities include assisting doctors, dispensing medications, maintaining cleanliness, and transporting patients. Candidates should possess basic computer skills, a pleasant personality, and a willingness to work shifts. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Registered with Medical Assistant Board and possess valid Annual Practicing Certificates.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Pleasant personality and willingness to work on shift rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information on medical services.
  • Assist doctor during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Dispense medicines as prescribed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of premises.
  • Transporting patients and providing treatment during transit.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide information on our medical services
  • Assist doctor during medical examinations and minor procedures
  • Dispense medicines as per Doctor’s prescription
  • Dressing and other clinical procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of premise
  • Handle and operate medical equipment with professionalism and care
  • Some administrative work (filing, billing, order & keep medicines)
  • Transporting patients to hospital and continuing to provide treatment while in transit.
  • Assessing patients, providing emergency treatment and making diagnoses
  • Driving and staffing ambulances and other emergency vehicles
Requirements
  • Diploma in Medical Assistant or equivalent
  • Registered with Medical Assistant Board and possess valid Annual Practicing Certificates, BLS, MTLS, and ACLS
  • Possess certificate in Occupational Health Nursing will be an added advantage
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Pleasant Personality
  • Basic Computer & Social Media skills
  • Willing to work on shift rotation
  • Able to start work immediately
  • Must hold Drivers’ License
