Job summary

A regional equipment rental company in Kulim seeks a technician with expertise in diesel engines and heavy machinery maintenance. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, basic electrical knowledge, and be willing to work on Saturdays. The role involves troubleshooting, servicing equipment, and generating service reports. A valid driving license is required. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in automotive-heavy machinery.
• Experience in maintenance repair of forklifts is an added advantage.
• Must have a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs assigned for the day.
• Attend to machine breakdowns and troubleshooting.
• Produce daily service reports for completed jobs.
• Perform preventive maintenance work as scheduled.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices in the workshop.

Job description

· Applicants who familiar with diesel engine, hydraulic system or repair lorry, excavator, truck, forklift, van and more are encouraged to apply.

· Complete jobs assigned for the day.

· Attend to machine breakdown, trouble‑shooting, servicing and repairing.

· Produce daily service report for the job.

· Perform preventive maintenance work as scheduled

· Any other duties assigned from time to time.

· Ensure good housekeeping practice in the workshop.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/ "O" Level, any field.

· Preferably with knowledge of basic electrical/mechanical knowledge.

· At least 2 years working experience in the related field (Automotive-Heavy Machinery) is required for this position.

· Experience in maintenance repair of forklift will be an added advantage.

· Must have driving license

· Applicants must be willing to work 6 days ( Monday – Saturday 8.30am - 5.00pm )
