Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall purchasing, procurement, acquisition and distribution of materials, equipment and services, by maintaining the supply inventory in a cost saving and timely manner for the hospital.

Serve as a resource to senior management and physicians in matters related to purchasing procedures, expense reduction initiatives, value analysis and contract negotiations.

Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of vendors and suppliers to ensure that all parties are complying with contractual terms.

Establish operational procedures for goods receive, issue, transfer and inventory control.

Review monthly inventory movement report to identify key areas for improvement.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

3 years'+ purchasing experience in the capacity as a manager.

Strong knowledge of supply chain management and management of vendors and suppliers.

Experience in the healthcare industry will be an added advantage.

Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership quality whilst always maintaining professionalism.
