Job description

We are looking for a talented and driven Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Jaslyn Cakes Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for someone who understands F7B trends, can create engaging content, drive footfall, and execute campaigns from start to finish. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Campaigns, Launches & Events
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create compelling content and assets that engage our target audience.
  • Analyze marketing performance data and provide insights to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Coordinate with Operation Manager, Managers, Head Baker for creative materials (menu photos, posters, videos, etc.).
  • Design graphics for social media postings and offline collaterals.
  • Assist in developing promotions, collaborations, and partnerships to increase customer traffic.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to propose new strategies.
Social Media & Content Creation
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices, and recommend new initiatives to enhance our marketing efforts.
  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) – content creation, posting schedules, engagement, and performance tracking including respond to customer messages and comments in a timely manner.
  • Work primarily with Canva or similar tools; basic Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator/Lightroom/Premiere) is a plus.
Brand & Customer Experience
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity.
  • Work with the team to ensure in‑store materials (signage, posters, menus) are always updated.
  • Assist with product packaging, printed collateral, and promotional displays.
Operational Support
  • Work closely with Outlet Manager, Operation Manager and bakers team for menu promotions and photography days.
  • Oversee inventory for marketing materials, props, and product shoot items.
  • Support on‑ground marketing activities, pop‑ups, and special events.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably F&B, hospitality or retail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience in managing and developing a high‑performing marketing team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Creative, proactive, and able to generate fresh marketing ideas.
  • Good photography or videography skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  • Proficiency in design/photo/video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work on‑site at the outlet when needed.
