Job summary

A marketing firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled marketing professional to plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and monitor campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Marketing, or Mass Communication and at least 2 years of experience in relevant fields. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, with Mandarin being an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Job description

Plan, coordinate, execute and support marketing campaigns across Above-The Line (ATL) and Below-The-Line (BTL) channels, including print, radio, in-mall, outdoor media, in-store promotions and marketing collaterals (posters, leaflets, signage, etc) ensuring consistent brand messaging aligned with marketing objectives.

Coordinate with internal departments (designers, buyers, operations etc.) and external parties (media, suppliers, malls etc.) for production, quotations, permits, support, timely deliveries, placements and other marketing-related matters.

Develop advertising, promotional and event concepts and ideas. Work closely with graphic designers to bring concepts and communications materials to live.

Prepare and proofread Marketing and PR-related materials in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese. Includes writing of press release and speeches.

Plan, coordinate and execute events, including store openings, monthly events, launches etc.

Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports.

Handle administrative tasks, including purchase orders, budgeting, quotations and invoice processing.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the company.

Requirement

Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Mass Communication or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising & promotions, PR & Events, advertising agencies, event organization, retail or mall management.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
