Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) targets.
• Plan, organize, and control manpower, machines, and materials to meet production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Monitor and improve yield, OEE, cycle time, scrap, and rework rates.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for major production, quality, and equipment issues using tools such as 8D, RCA, FMEA.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO / IATF), internal procedures, and customer requirements.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate engineers, supervisors, and operators within the section.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, EHS, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support new product or process introduction, production ramp‑up, and equipment qualification activities.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies, promote a strong safety culture, and maintain a disciplined shop floor environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or section head role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production control, and shop floor management.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement projects.
• Familiar with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience in problem‑solving tools (8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC).
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic manufacturing systems (ERP/MES is an advantage).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
