Responsibilities

• Create and maintain PFMEA and Control Plan for sub-assembly.
• Improve process quality, efficiency, and cost on sub-assemblies.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will execute manufacturing engineering strategies defined by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Assistant Manager to improve and sustain operations delivery.

Impact You Will Make

• To create and maintain assembly and test instruction for sub-assembly, final assembly or final test and provide training to suppliers and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineering to design, validate and implement test bench for sub-assembly at manufacturing and supplier site.
• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plan for sub-assembly.
• Responsible to quality incidents related to process engineering from root cause analysis till preventive action implementation.
• Continual improvement on sub-assembly, final assembly and final test process quality, efficiency and cost.
• Involve in new product transfer related to process engineering including BOM analysis, validate and ensure new product meet the predefined requirements & specifications
• Technical interface for supplier.
• Any other adhoc assignment according to business needs

Our Ideal Candidate

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in mechatronic or automation field
• Experienced in 2D and 3D CAD applications
• Experience in workflow processes in assembly, machining processes, fabrication materials, treatment selections and testing of electromechanical systems
• Experience in Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and any Problem Solving Tools will be an added advantage
• Analytical skills, critical/logical and creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills; verbally and written
• Ability to adapt to different environments, work under pressure and manage effective working solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
