• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in the Education Industry, particularly in International School is preferred.
• Strong commitment to and passion for education.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the teaching subject.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Mandarin to various levels of classes.
• Monitoring and evaluating students' progress.
• Preparing and assessing student learning.
• Supporting curriculum development.
• Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge.
• Attending Programme and subject-based meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Mandarin to a range of classes of different levels and language proficiency.
• Monitoring and evaluating the progress and development of the students under one’s charge and giving useful and timely feedback to students and parents.
• Preparing and assessing student learning to facilitate positive and effective development.
• Working with others in supporting the department in curriculum development/review and other departmental needs.
• Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge and preparing relevant teaching resources.
• Participate actively in Programme meeting and subject-based meetings.
• Perform student management duties as required.

Requirements:

• Perform student management duties as required.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics & Literature (Mandarin) or any related field. Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in the Education Industry, particularly in International School will be an added advantage, with IB knowledge.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is an advantage
• Have a strong commitment to and passion for education.
• Have a broad and thorough knowledge of the teaching subject.
• Be self-motivated, responsible, caring and innovative.
