The Manager, Workforce Strategy is a key strategic partner responsible for designing, driving, and governing the enterprise-wide Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) roadmap. This role involves utilizing advanced predictive analytics and organizational modelling to anticipate future capability gaps, optimize organizational structure, and ensure the organization possesses the right mix of talent, skills, and capacity necessary to achieve long-term growth targets and respond effectively to evolving market dynamics.
Key Accountability
- Design, champion, and govern the Group's enterprise-wide Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) framework and methodologies, ensuring rigorous alignment with long-term organizational strategy and established guidelines.
- Lead executive-level consultation with Business Unit (BU) heads and senior leaders to accurately forecast workforce demand, proactively identify critical future skill gaps, and translate these insights into comprehensive, integrated workforce plans
- Oversee and drive key initiatives related to Organizational Design (OD), including the governance of the entire lifecycle for job evaluations, organizational structure adjustments, manpower control, and managing the integrity of the job requisition and organizational chart within approved financial and operational parameters
- Ensure optimal workforce effectiveness and efficiency by rigorously monitoring manpower statistics, associated costs, and ensuring strict alignment with operational budgets and staffing targets
- Lead advanced workforce data analysis utilizing predictive and statistical modelling to identify emerging trends, systemic risks (e.g., high-risk attrition groups), and strategic opportunities within the Human Capital
- Develop and maintain high-impact executive dashboards and analytical reports to monitor critical workforce metrics, including supply-demand alignment, attrition predictability, capacity utilization, and succession readiness/gaps
- Provide strategic, data-driven recommendations and consulting support to senior management to influence talent acquisition, retention, and operational workforce planning decisions
- Coordinate and provide strategic oversight for major talent movements, including large-scale recruitment drives and promotion exercises, ensuring strict adherence to the overarching workforce strategy and business operational needs
- Lead and track the execution of complex productivity improvement initiatives and measure the efficacy and progress of overall Human Capital strategies against defined performance indicators
- Direct scenario planning and modeling efforts to proactively address potential workforce challenges, developing and presenting agile solutions aligned with immediate, medium, and long-term business continuity requirements
Qualifications and Working Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in workforce planning, human capital management, or strategic HR roles
