About the Role
The Manager - Transformation & Sustainability role leads the Bank's strategic transformation agenda and integrates social finance with Islamic principles to drive operational excellence and long-term value creation. This role reports to the Head of Transformation & Sustainability, focusing on end-to-end change management, process optimization, and ESG-aligned initiatives in a dynamic banking environment.
What will you do?
Strategic Transformation Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide transformation programs, including digital process reengineering and social finance roadmaps aligned with Islamic finance standards.
- Develop KPIs, monitor progress, and deliver executive dashboards to ensure transformation initiatives achieve measurable business impact.
- Conduct gap analyses and benchmark against industry best practices in banking transformation.
- Oversee data-driven reporting based on the scope.
Change Management & Implementation
- Spearhead change management strategies, including stakeholder training, communication plans, and adoption frameworks to embed new processes.
- Drive cross-functional projects for resource optimization, and social finance innovations like waqf and impact investing.
- Facilitate workshops and act as a change champion to foster a culture of innovation and agility.
Social Finance Execution
- Implement social finance frameworks, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations and Islamic principles.
- Manage impact assessments and partnerships with NGOs for community outcomes.
- Oversee data-driven reporting for regulators, investors, and board committees using advanced analytics tool.
General

- The job holder may also be required to undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Immediate Leader or Head of Division consistent with the role's scope and level of authority.
Skills and experience you possess
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or any relevant field.
- Relevant certifications i.e. Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), PROSCI Change Management, PMP or PRINCE2 for project leadership, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt for process transformation, or Islamic finance certifications are highly desirable.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in transformation, change management, or social finance roles within financial services, ideally in Islamic banking.
- Proven experience in project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian regulatory requirements related to sustainability, social finance and financial services.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
