Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Johor is looking for a Maintenance Technician to provide technical support and maintenance service for existing machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery breakdowns, executing preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the mechanical field, and knowledge of HACCP and GMP is an advantage. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and mechanical fields.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Familiar with HACCP and GMP standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance service for machinery to reduce production downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance and daily checklists.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and electrical breakdowns promptly.
• Perform general repairs such as carpentry and plumbing.

Job description

Provides maintenance service and technical support for existing machinery and new development projects in the Company so as to minimize breakdowns and loss of production time.

Execute pre-planned maintenance service for manufacturing equipment to achieve optimal performance.

Assist in machinery breakdown and product quality issues troubleshooting and implementation of countermeasure actions to remedy such issues.

Carry out planned preventive maintenance, daily checklist and proper housekeeping.

Responsible to upkeep machinery and documentation.

Required to do other maintenance work such as general repair, carpentry, electrical and plumbing works according to standard.

Carried out 5S and machine cleaning regularly to keep a high level of cleanliness.

To troubleshoot and repair machines and electrical appliances breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the technician shall be required to work outside normal hours.

To install and dismantle machines equipment.

Basic welding practices and techniques.

Any other duties as assigned by Superior.

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years working experience in maintenance and mechanical field.

Passes welding certification is an added advantage.

Ability to troubleshoot and solved problem for electrical, mechanical and instrumentation jobs.

Exposure in HACCP and GMP is an added advantage.

Willing to work odd hours upon request.
