A leading beverage company in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a food or beverage facility. Proficiency in SAP or other CMMS is preferred. Reports to: Head of Maintenance
Develop preventive maintenance plan and implement to success.
Track and monitor all maintenance costs.
Prioritize work orders based on urgency, operational impact, and resource availability.
Coordinate with Parts Inventory team to ensure maintenance parts are ordered and stocked for planned maintenance activities.
Perform parts kitting for all planned jobs to ensure needed materials are readily available.
Review all completed jobs for accuracy to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Provide daily reports to maintenance leadership.
Manage all work orders and notifications for the plant.
Develop and implement accurate equipment lists, files, and bill of materials (BOM) in CMMS.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Heavy coordination with maintenance management, technicians, suppliers, service providers, and contractors to ensure maintenance planning activities are scheduled in support of plant operations. This includes both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Work with technicians on improving PM quality, detail, and completeness.
Responsible for initial screening of all work requests.
Coordinate contracted maintenance services including writing bidding jobs, obtaining quotes, creating purchase orders, and managing contractors.
Perform PM optimization for all plant equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical background
Minimum 2 years of related experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler, preferably in a food or beverage facility.
Experienced with SAP or other CMMS
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft office, Excel, and Power Point
Know and follow all prescribed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety, attendance, and rules of conduct guidelines.
