Job summary

A leading technology company located in Seberang Perai, Malaysia is seeking a skilled technician with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include conducting predictive maintenance, training junior technicians, and ensuring the proper operation of equipment. Candidates should possess good communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and be able to lift heavy loads. A high school diploma is required, vocational training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 kg frequently.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and analyze equipment problems.
• Conduct predictive maintenance and necessary repairs.
• Train lower-level technicians on troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper equipment usage and operations.
• Construct and assemble new equipment as needed.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment.
• Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.
• Perform training as needed to Lower level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment
• Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime.
• Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.
• Construct and/or assemble new equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed
• Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment down-time
• Work from blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Help repairing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
• Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Must have good or corrected eyesight to insure quality of work
• Ability to lift and carry 25 kg frequently
• Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights
• Good basic math skills
