Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant working experience; PLC and automation knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out modification and troubleshooting on machines and equipment.
  • Attend to process equipment and machinery failure for corrective action.
  • Supervise electricians for work optimisation.
  • Prepare and track all defects and expedite corrective action.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for parts and services.
  • Perform automation projects and other tasks assigned by management.
  • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and maintain spare parts.
  • Share skills and knowledge among team members.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Carry out modification and troubleshooting or diagnosing faults on the machines and equipment.
  • Promptly attend to process equipment and machinery failure for investigation and corrective action to ensure speedily restoration of normal plant production.
  • Supervising electricians to support work optimisation and ensure maintenance is kept in order.
  • Prepare and track all defects, expedite corrective action plans and timely report.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to negotiate for parts and services at the lowest costs possible without compromising quality assurance of parts and services.
  • Perform automation projects and any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
  • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns, provide preventive maintenance tasks based on system (JDE) and maintain optimal level of essential spare parts.
  • Seek opportunity to synergize and share skills and knowledge among team members.
Job Requirements
