Job summary

A leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled operator for sheet metal processing machines in Kulai, Malaysia. You will be responsible for operating various machines, including laser cutting and bending. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, understands mechanical drawings, and is committed to workplace safety. This role offers a salary range from RM2,000 to RM3,500, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; technical or vocational background preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience operating band saws or laser cutting machines.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and familiar with safety practices.

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating sheet metal processing machines according to drawings and process requirements to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sheet metal machines including laser cutting, grinding, bending, rolling, and shearing according to drawings and process requirements.
• Perform accurate measuring, marking, cutting, bending, and rolling to meet production schedules, quality, and technical standards.
• Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness, implement 6S activities, and comply with all safety and operating procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum high school education; technical or vocational background preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience operating band saws, laser cutting machines, shearing and bending machines.
• Able to read mechanical drawings; familiar with sheet metal processing equipment and workshop safety practices.

Salary Range: RM2k - RM3.5k
