Job summary

A logistics company is seeking a lorry driver based in Ipoh, Malaysia. The ideal candidate should have a valid Malaysian driving license (class B2 or C) and 1–2 years of experience in warehousing and distribution. Responsibilities include loading and unloading goods, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring safe deliveries. Candidates must be physically fit and knowledgeable of local traffic conditions. This role involves working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a lorry driver, preferably in warehousing.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stocks from lorry to warehouse/outlets.
• Ensure vehicles are in good working order.
• Conduct pre-survey on travel plans and routes.

Skills

Good knowledge of local road network

Education

Job description

To load and unloading stocks from lorry to warehouse/outlets.

To ensure the vehicles are in good working order and perform the normal maintenance check before and after daily use of the vehicles.

Ensuring goods safely delivered to required location.

To conduct a pre-survey on the travel plans and routes for smooth daily deliveries.

Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/management.
