Job description

Lorry Driver Duties

• Main duty for driving lorry to deliver the W.I.P, goods, and material to customer/destination.
• Ensure the W.I.P, goods, and material deliver to customer/destination on time. Punctuality delivery service is mandatory.
• Immediately inform superior/office staff if occur any quality issue during goods transporting, or any major dispute on customer receiving process.
• Good use of company property including lorry/toll card/etc for official working purpose only. Avoid the usage upon private needs.
• Responsible to maintain the hygiene, sanitation & cleanliness of lorry.
• Follow the instruction from superior to perform daily scheduled delivery plan effectively and efficient.
• Maintain personal hygiene and proper uniform code (as the driver deemed as image of frontliner that represent company to public).
• Avoid unreasonable over speeding than the road speed limit.
• Parking by using company provided coupon or digital coupon to avoid compound.

Delivery

• Assist forklift driver to loading the finished goods or material into lorry/vehicle.
• Responsible to double confirm the D.O. vs actual goods. Example, verify the quantity/type/method are loaded into lorry/vehicle before departing.
• Ensure the condition of loading finished goods or material comply to S.O.P.

Other task - Production (in-process)

• Perform daily production tasks as planned (when request by superior)
• Perform any ad-hoc production tasks that involving warehouse, finished good storage, packaging material storage, etc.

Other lorry/vehicle maintenance

• Responsible to perform daily visual inspection on lorry/vehicle condition, such as:
  • Make sure all light is function.
  • Make sure no major crashed/dented/scratch on vehicle surface, inform superior if found any.
• Responsible to perform weekly inspection on lorry/vehicle condition, such as:
  • Do weekly checking on the tyre pressure. Refilling it at nearby petrol station if the tyre pressure is running low.
  • Do weekly checking the level and condition of engine oil, brake oil, battery water, etc.
  • Responsible to perform other maintenance task lorry/vehicle condition, such as:
    • Mind the mileage of lorry/vehicle usage, inform superior to arrange the workshop maintenance. Send the lorry/vehicle to workshop.

Lorry Assistant Duties

• Ensure the W.I.P, goods, and material deliver to customer/destination on time. Punctuality delivery service is mandatory.
• Immediately inform superior/office staff if occur any quality issue during goods transporting, or any major dispute on customer receiving process.
• Follow the instruction from superior to perform daily scheduled delivery plan effectively and efficient.
• Maintain personal hygiene and proper uniform code (as the helper deemed as image of frontliner that represent company to public).
