Job description

Possess a valid commercial driving license (e.g., GDL) and a clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Lorry Driver, preferably with experience in transporting building materials or similar heavy goods.

Proficient in performing routine vehicle maintenance checks, including inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to the transportation of goods, including proper loading and securing techniques to prevent damage or accidents.

Ability to plan efficient delivery routes, considering traffic conditions, road restrictions, and delivery schedules, to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers during deliveries and address any concerns or inquiries professionally.

Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to facilitate effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders.
