About the job Logistics Specialist | Iskandar Puteri

Job Summary:

Responsible for Warehouse operation supervising such as for standard manufacturing process, Pick/Pack/Ship Process in CNDC and the responsibility of the position shall also cover the same for the related affiliates of company, which can refer to the company organization chart.

Job Description:

  • Plan import and export logistics, coordinate with suppliers and customers, arrange transportation, and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and review import/export documents to meet customs and trade requirements.
  • Handle import and export customs declarations, follow up on inspections, and resolve customs issues for seamless clearance.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers, negotiate rates, track shipments, and report anomalies.
  • Oversee warehousing of imported and exported goods, ensure inventory accuracy, and optimize storage efficiency.
  • Monitor trade policies, tariffs, and exchange rates, propose cost - saving strategies.
  • Maintain logistics records, file customs and transportation documents, and support internal/external audits.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, share logistics updates, and resolve delivery and cargo issues for high satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma & above; Logistic majority is preferred
  • Above 3 years relevant working experience
  • Familiar with customs laws and regulations in Malaysia.
  • Strong personnel management and coordination experience.
  • Working languages: English and standard Malay are required; fluent in Mandarin is additional advantages.
  • Candidates with experience in starting up new factories in Malaysia are highly preferred.
