The Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC) team in Malaysia provides centralized leadership for all import and export activities across MR DIY worldwide, ensuring efficient shipment planning and execution. Our team facilitates the smooth movement of goods to and from various international locations, prioritizing cost-efficiency and effective logistics operations.

We are seeking a proactive and driven individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the strategy execution of international import and export shipments including customs clearance, logistics handling coordination and performing data analysis to drive operational improvements. This role requires a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with both domestic regulations and international export, trade, and financial standards in line with company direction.

This position will be based at Balakong Industrial Park, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the communication and coordination to liaise with international stakeholders to monitor import and export activities across MR.DIY at regional standpoint. Proactively managed all aspects and liaise with cross functional stakeholders for related country shipping function matters.
  • Preferred understanding or knowledge relevant with international trade, compliance and logistic activities (for Asia Pacific and Europe regions).
  • Collect, validate, analyze and interpret various types of trade and logistics data including transportation cost, lead time, capacity, turnover, fulfillment metrics etc.
  • Independently prepare and present reports to international teams and management, delivering clear updates and actionable insights on logistics performance and key metrics.
  • Identify opportunity, risk and issue with suggestion or solution recommendation and immediate or prolong impact implementation.
  • Manage and ensure continuous smooth import & export process in comply with the departmental guidelines. Support and assist in logistic planning for special commodities such as FDA, and CE on regulated items.
  • Supports the design and implementation of Logistics Solutions Development with supervisor and cross functional team members to develop alternative or long-term effective solutions.
  • Examine various documents such as costing files, invoices & other related shipping documents.
  • Any other duties to be assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any related field, with relevant 1 to 3 years working experiences in global trading / import & export operations.
  • Supply chain or logistic knowledge involved import and export procedures, customs operation and HS codes.
  • Proactive with good interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written, which able to interact with various levels of people (peers, supervisors, international and cross department PICs). Detail-oriented, self-driven and agile to various situation.
  • Strong sense of urgency and logical thinking. Ability to ‘think out of the box’ in terms of problem-solving and competency to contribute ideas to regarding operational matters.
  • Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English, as the role requires frequent communication with international stakeholders.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel (Intermediate skill level such as Pivot Table, V-lookup) and Power Point.
  • Ability to work independent and as a team.
