A logistics and supply chain management firm in Kuala Selangor is seeking an experienced professional to handle logistics data operations. Responsibilities include operating core systems, analyzing data to improve processes, managing order data, and ensuring accurate reporting and billing. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of industry experience, and is proficient in Excel and BI tools. Fluency in both Chinese and English is essential for this role.
System Data Operation and Maintenance
Operate the core system for overseas logistics operations, review full-link data of transportation, warehousing and orders on a daily basis to ensure data real-time performance and accuracy.
Maintain system data and perform regular data entry.
Daily Operation Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze core data of overseas logistics operations to identify operational risks and optimization opportunities.
Compile operation data reports covering key performance indicator (KPI) achievement, problem summaries and optimization recommendations, and drive the implementation of improvement measures within the department.
Full-process Order Data Processing
Liaise with clients and sales teams to handle the full process of order data, verify the consistency between order information and system records to ensure data traceability.
Process abnormal order operations and update system data status in a timely manner.
Abnormal Data Follow-up
Monitor anomalies in order, transportation and warehousing data in real time.
Coordinate resources from service providers, clients and other relevant parties to resolve anomalies, track the progress of handling and update the status of abnormal data, and finally formulate improvement measures.
Billing Data Preparation and Reconciliation
Prepare customer accounts receivable bills based on orders and reconcile service provider accounts payable bills.
Liaise with the finance department to complete bill review and settlement, and update the bill status in the system synchronously.
Education and Major
Bachelor's degree or above. Majors in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Information Management or related fields are preferred.
Industry Experience
At least 3 years of experience in logistics data operations, with a good command of the full logistics process and system operations (e.g., TMS/WMS/OMS).
Candidates with experience in order data processing, anomaly follow-up or billing preparation are preferred.
Data Skills
Proficient in Excel and BI tools.
Familiar with the definitions and calculation logic of core data indicators in the logistics industry (e.g., OTIF rate, damage rate, inventory turnover rate), with acute data sensitivity.
Other Competencies
Fluent in both Chinese and English, capable of proficiently operating Chinese and English system interfaces.
Strong logical analysis and problem-solving abilities, able to quickly identify operational issues from data and drive improvements.
Strong sense of responsibility and good pressure resistance, able to adapt to the fast-paced cross-border business environment.
Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, capable of efficient collaboration with operation teams, service providers and the finance department.
