Job Description
  • Litigation Associate
  • - Handling general litigation matters including but not limited to employment dispute, corporate and commercial dispute, family divorce matters, will and probate etc
  • - Conducting thorough legal research;
  • - Drafting correspondences, cause papers and submissions;
  • - Managing court timeline and ensuring compliance of court direction strictly;
  • - Carrying out administrative role including but not limited to compiling of documents;
  • - Attending case management and mention;
  • - Assisting the partners in court hearings and trials;
  • Pupil/Paralegal
  • - Managing the physical files and softcopy files in the system;
  • - Conducting thorough legal research;
  • - Drafting correspondences, cause papers and submissions (opportunity will be given upon assessment by the partner of your performance);
  • - Managing court timeline and ensuring compliance of court direction strictly;
  • - Assisting associate in compiling of documents;
  • - Assisting the partners in court hearings and trials;
  • - Performing general administrative role such as photocopying, binding and scanning of documents;
  • - Exposure to conveyancing work.
Qualifications and Requirements

LEGAL ASSISTANT

  • Requirements:
  • 0–2 years of experience (newly admitted lawyers are encouraged to apply).
  • Able to draft various agreements independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Accountable, meticulous, self-motivated, and responsible.
  • Willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or exposure in construction-related disputes will be an added advantage.

CHAMBERING STUDENT

  • Requirements:
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Eager to learn, hardworking, and committed throughout the pupillage period.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.
