Job summary

A legal firm in Selangor is seeking an individual with 1 to 2 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation. Responsibilities include assisting lawyers in preparing litigation documents, handling administrative tasks, and organizing appointments. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe, and possess strong communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English. Immediate availability is advantageous. Qualifications

Job description
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field (civil and commercial litigation)
  • Assist the lawyers in preparing litigation related documents i.e. cause papers, pleadings, submissions and etc.
  • Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry, opening and closing of files and monitoring incoming emails and calls
  • Organize and manage dates, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Maintain proper records/filling of correspondences and documents which include but not limited to mails, fax distribution, draft documents, etc; and
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably expected and required by the firm which commensurate with the level of post
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum SPM
  • Good communication and writing skill in Bahasa Melayu and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe
  • Good time management
  • Dedicated, hardworking and able to work independently and under minimum supervision
  • Well organized and responsibleAble to work under pressure and have a good working attitude

  • Candidate who can start immediately will be an added advantage
