About theRole

We are seeking a commercially astute and proactive Legal Counsel to join the APAC legal team. This role offers a broad and varied portfolio, focusing primarily on commercial contracts while providing support across a range of legal and compliance matters. The successful candidate will act as a trusted legal partner to the business, ensuring sound risk management and supporting strategic objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

JobResponsibilities
  • Serve as the primary legal contact for Southeast Asia, managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle for a wide range of commercial agreements.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and revise various contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual issues, potential disputes, and general commercial matters.
  • Collaborate with the wider legal and compliance team on regional initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
  • Support the business in understanding and navigating relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient contract management processes and legal knowledge resources.
