Job summary

A fast-growing tech startup is looking for a Lead/Senior QA Automation Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur. This role entails designing automation frameworks, leading a team of QA Engineers, and managing comprehensive test plans for various enterprise projects in Asia and Europe. Role

• Work directly with the Head of QA (ex Iflix and Grass Valley) to setup and govern the automation framework
• Design detailed and comprehensive technical test plans and documents
• Lead resource planning, delegate tasks, and maximize the QA team's strengths and resources
• Work closely with stakeholders to review project scopes and technical specs > define testing parameters, align business logic with technical feasibility etc.
• Keep up with the latest testing tools and strategies to level up the team

Projects

• You will be leading / be part of the quality assurance of existing and upcoming enterprise projects across Asia and Europe region
• R&D > coming up with new ideas and tools for the best testing strategies

Team structure

• Reporting to the Head of QA and DevOps while working alongside a growing team of 30+ QA Engineers

Must haves

• Solid user-facing web / mobile Ul testing experience
• Strong grasp of functional and non-functional testing, regression and sanity testing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Automation / smoke / exploratory / integration / system testing
• Senior > 4 to 5 years of software testing experience
• Junior > 2 to 3 years of software testing experience
• You do not require extensive automation testing experience for this role

Location / Work Arrangement

• Hybrid work arrangement > alternate weeks (2 weeks a month
