This fully remote role requires 1.5-3 years of experience in campaign execution and budget management. Key responsibilities include building and optimizing Meta Ads campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with the CEO on strategies. The position offers a monthly salary of USD $800–$1,200, depending on experience, and aims to empower adults through accessible educational qualifications.
Contract: Three-Month Fixed-Term (with potential for renewal based on performance)
Location: Fully Remote – Asia
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm GMT/BST
Salary: USD $800–$1,200 per month (upper range applicable to candidates with 2.5–3 years of proven experience), paid in local currency
My Free Course is an education platform that connects adult learners (aged 19 and above) with government-funded qualifications. We work with accredited colleges and training providers across the United Kingdom.
Our mission is straightforward yet impactful: education should be free, accessible, and transformative. We are a small but rapidly growing organisation dedicated to helping adults obtain professionally recognised qualifications.
We are seeking a highly competent Performance Marketer specialising in Meta advertising, capable of operating with a significant degree of autonomy. This is a hands‑on role in which you will assume full responsibility for the day‑to‑day execution of Meta advertising campaigns, while working closely with the Chief Executive Officer on strategic direction.
You will be accountable for campaign set‑up, optimisation, tracking implementation, and performance reporting. This is not an account management or coordination position; rather, it requires continuous, data‑driven decision‑making within Meta Ads Manager to directly influence lead generation efficiency and cost performance.
The successful candidate must be able to execute independently, including campaign creation, tracking implementation, performance optimisation, and issue resolution, without the need for constant supervision. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer on strategy, budget allocation, and key campaign decisions.
Campaign Execution and Management (50%)
Build, launch, and manage Meta Ads campaigns focused on lead generation, including prospecting and retargeting
Implement Meta Pixel, Conversion API, and GA4 event tracking through Google Tag Manager
Design campaign structures, audiences, ad sets, and creative specifications
Monitor daily performance and implement optimisation actions, including budget reallocation, audience refinement, and creative refreshes
Manage monthly advertising budgets ranging from £10,000 to £30,000 or more, with defined CPL targets
Test and validate tracking implementations prior to campaign launch using appropriate debugging tools
Optimisation and Analysis (35%)
Continuously monitor and optimise key performance metrics, including CPL, CTR, CPC, frequency, and conversion rates
Conduct structured A/B testing across audiences, creatives, and messaging
Identify and resolve tracking discrepancies and attribution issues
Develop and maintain performance dashboards using Looker Studio
Analyse campaign data to identify opportunities for scaling and efficiency improvements
Provide weekly performance reports and strategic recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer
Strategy and Growth (15%)
Contribute to quarterly campaign planning and budget forecasting
Conduct research into UK target audiences and develop informed targeting strategies
Propose creative concepts and prepare briefs for external designers
Identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion into additional acquisition channels, including Google Ads and TikTok
Document processes and continuously improve operational workflows
Meta Ads Expertise (Essential)
Candidates must possess between 1.5 and 3 years of hands‑on experience in building and optimising Meta advertising campaigns.
Delivering lead generation campaigns, preferably within education, financial services, healthcare, or other high‑consideration sectors
Managing substantial advertising budgets (minimum £10,000 per month) with clear evidence of CPL or CPA improvement
A strong working knowledge of the following is essential:
Campaign objectives and optimisation methodologies
Audience targeting strategies, including prospecting, retargeting, and lookalike audiences
Creative testing frameworks and iterative improvement
Meta’s learning phase, frequency management, and ad fatigue mitigation
Bidding strategies and budget scaling techniques
Please note that experience exclusively in e‑commerce or direct‑response campaigns may not be sufficient for this role.
Technical Implementation Capability (Critical Requirement)
Applicants must be capable of independently managing all technical aspects of campaign tracking. Candidates who have consistently relied on developers for tracking implementation may not be suitable.
Demonstrable hands‑on experience is required in:
Meta Pixel installation, including base code, event configuration, and custom conversions
Conversion API implementation for server‑side tracking
UTM parameter set‑up and campaign attribution tracking
Use of debugging tools such as Meta Pixel Helper, Events Manager, and GA4 DebugView
Troubleshooting tracking inconsistences and data discrepancies
Candidates will be required to walk through technical implementations during the interview process.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to calculate and optimise CPL, CTR, CVR, and ROI
Experience analysing data using GA4 and producing reports within Looker Studio or comparable platforms
Proven ability to diagnose performance issues and develop structured testing hypotheses
Understanding of attribution challenges across multiple platforms and touchpoints
Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
Experience targeting UK audiences and analysing UK consumer behaviour
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with UK‑based stakeholders via email, Google, and video conferencing
Experience managing campaigns targeting the UK or other English‑speaking markets (United States, Canada, Australia)
Familiarity with UK demographics, particularly within the adult education sector
Prior experience in education, training, or certification marketing
Working knowledge of Google Ads, including Search, Display, and YouTube
Experience managing high‑volume lead generation funnels
Demonstrated success working remotely across multiple time zones
Execution Capability over Seniority
We are seeking an individual who can execute independently and effectively, rather than delegate or coordinate. The ideal candidate will be comfortable:
Building campaigns from inception without extensive guidance
Implementing and troubleshooting tracking solutions
Making informed, confident optimisation decisions on a daily basis
Managing workload and priorities effectively in a remote environment
Strategic Thinking with Practical Application
You should possess a clear understanding of both the rationale and mechanics behind campaign decisions. This includes the ability to:
Clearly articulate optimisation logic
Recommend strategic adjustments based on data insights
Balance experimentation with performance stability
Anticipate future scaling and channel expansion opportunities
Collaboration and Communication
This is a remote role operating within UK business hours and a small team structure. You must:

The successful candidate will be expected to manage underperformance, tracking failures, and budget fluctuations professionally by:
Remaining calm and methodical when troubleshooting
Seeking support when necessary, after attempting resolution independently
Learning from setbacks and implementing corrective actions
Taking full ownership of campaign outcomes, both positive and negative
Professional Development
Exposure to the UK education sector and its regulatory and market dynamics
Opportunity to demonstrate capability during an initial three‑month contract, with strong potential for renewal
Potential progression into a Lead Performance Marketer role within 12–18 months, subject to performance
