Join Our Team as Lead Coach – Infant & Toddler Swim Programme!

Role Overview:

As the Lead Coach for our Infant & Toddler Swim Programme, reporting to the Head Coach, you will:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate swim lessons for infants and toddlers
  • Develop and refine the infant curriculum, creating engaging lesson plans
  • Lead and run workshops, parent-child sessions, and swim camps
  • Guide, mentor, and train other coaches in the programme
  • Create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment
  • Communicate with parents on progress and tips for at-home support

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience teaching infants, toddlers, or young children (below the age of 3) in a swim or aquatic setting
  • At least 2 years’ experience in infant curriculum development and lesson planning
  • Ability to create and run workshops, parent-child sessions, and swim camps
  • Strong knowledge of water safety, early childhood development, and age-appropriate swim techniques
  • Ability to mentor and train other coaches
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with parents and team members
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children
  • Coaching certifications (e.g., Swim England, AUSTSWIM, or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory
