Now we are looking for a Lead Artist who will be a part of our team of artists to help them design and develop state-of-the-art animations for our clients, and to support our Creative Director. Do you want to paint the sky with your art? Apply now!

Tasks
  • Developing 3D models for drone shows
  • Developing animations and transitions for drone shows
  • Running physics checks and making corrections
  • Developing take-off and landing sequences
  • Implementing feedback according to the technical or client requirements
  • Creating static preview and animation preview renders
  • Assembling ready shows and preparing them for flight
  • Work closely with artists in the team and supervise them on the technical side
  • Ensuring that the output resembles the creative and artistic decisions made prior
  • Work closely with project managers, sales managers & creative director
  • Helping team members in solving the problems the production faces on a day-to-day basis
  • Work with the creative director together to manage the day-to-day running of the team and to evaluate artist schedules, ensuring they are realistic and achievable
  • Attend desk rounds with all members of the team on a regular basis
  • Attend daily sessions with the team to ensure workflows are being adhered to
  • Keeping up on current technology trends and tools (hardware and software) that best suit the production
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts/Design or 7+ Years industry experience
  • 3+ Years industry experience in drone shows, motion design, game-dev (TechArt/Real-Time VFX) or VFX
  • Working knowledge of physically based simulation techniques
  • Deep understanding of the CG animation pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of task-management frameworks and software tools
  • Working knowledge of the client approval process
  • Solid team management and leadership skills. Strong sense of team dynamics and a positive morale-generating style
  • Ability to successfully delegate and manage projects
  • Able to manage a time-sensitive workload with an urgent and extremely organized manner
  • High attitude to details
  • Experience working with off-site team members
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Team player approach with the ability to take direction/feedback
