The LCA Analyst plays a key role in assessing the environmental performance of products, processes, and systems across their entire life cycle. This position is responsible for conducting quantitative environmental impact assessments and providing data-driven insights to guide sustainability decisions.

The role is located at our office in Batu Gajah or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze primary and secondary data from internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Build, run, and maintain LCA models using the GaBi software.
- Translate LCA outputs into accessible reports, carbon footprints, and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
- Perform cradle to grave LCAs following ISO 14040/44 standards.
- Identify environmental hotspots and recommend improvement strategies for products and processes.
- Support compliance with emerging sustainability regulations and reporting frameworks.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal LCA methodologies and databases.
- Monitors and analyzes changes to product-related sustainability regulations and relevant international standards related to product sustainability topics, including life cycle assessments, environmental product declarations, product sustainability claims, and product and raw materials sustainable content reporting.
- Supports the development of written and visual summaries of the company's product sustainability data, including LCA results, environmental product footprints, product sustainable content data, etc.
- Stay up to date on developments in the field of sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Materials Science, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years' experience with LCA assessments and reporting.
- Experience in LCA modelling, using software such as GaBi, SimaPro or similar.
- Familiarity with ISO 14040/44, product carbon footprinting, EPD standards, and PEF guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex results into clear recommendations.
- Experience working with manufacturing data, material datasets, and supply chain information is a strong plus.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively across R&D, operations, procurement, and sustainability functions.
- Able to work effectively in an international cultural environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including self-motivation and time management.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Fluent English is required.
