Language Center Social Media Operations Specialist
Primary responsibilities include:
- Daily content planning, shooting, editing, copywriting, and publishing on Xiaohongshu and Douyin, focusing on English training, study abroad applications, and university analysis to create high‑conversion viral content.
- Establishing and optimizing a local media communication matrix; integrating local social media resources; planning marketing campaigns aligned with local user habits to enhance the brand’s regional influence.
- Understanding the needs of students studying abroad and English learners, delivering supportive content such as application guides, language learning tips, and university pitfall avoidance guides; optimizing private‑message replies and user follow‑up processes to improve customer conversion.
- Monitoring account performance data (exposure, interaction, conversion, etc.); optimizing content strategies with tools such as spotlight advertising; and regularly generating data review reports.
- Operating accounts in compliance with platform rules, avoiding platform rule risks and culturally sensitive issues, ensuring compliance with Malaysian laws, regulations, and company image.
Required qualifications:
- At least 2 years of self‑media operation experience with a proven track record of independently operating an English‑language recruitment or study‑abroad account.
- Ability to explain the entire process of creating a content account from scratch, creating viral content, and the conversion chain.
- Proficiency in the algorithm logic and content creation strategies of Xiaohongshu and Douyin; skilled in still‑image/short‑video text editing and production techniques.
- Experience collaborating with local media and familiarity with the Malaysian social media ecosystem, including local forums and regional platforms.
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing); can work in English and independently write English copy and handle English materials; demonstrates cross‑cultural communication sensitivity.
- Preferred: Xiaohongshu professional account certification, practical experience in spotlight advertising, or local work background in the study‑abroad industry.
