Job description

We are principally involved in manufacturing of optical inspection, measurement & automated handling equipment.

In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill up the vacancy of Junior Electrical Engineer.

General Responsibilities:

• Design and development of electrical systems for semiconductor equipment.
• Support the integration of electrical systems with mechanical and software components of semiconductor equipment to ensure the electrical design and installation are completed on time for optimum performance.
• Integrate and interface third party equipment into electrical design.
• Provide thorough testing and machine functionality to verify electrical wiring and safety compliance to electrical standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems during the prototyping and production phases.
• Assist in the selection and specification of electrical components, ensuring they meet quality and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to resolve electrical issues and contribute to system improvements.
• Document design changes, test results, and troubleshooting activities for future reference and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions on electrical system performance and reliability.
• Support production department on product’s electrical/electronic engineering issues.
• Prepare report or documentation on daily activity/project/task.
• Maintain cost and quality awareness for all daily activity involved.
• Ensure electrical designs SOP & documentation comply with ISO standards.
• Other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering is required.
• Fresh grad is welcome to apply.
• Candidate with 1-2 years’ experience in electrical engineering design in the semiconductor equipment, robotic, automation, motion control system or precision machinery industries is an added point.
• Proficiency in electrical design software - AutoCAD.
• Knowledge in electronic circuit design and electrical wiring design of automated handler is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in motion control system & computer interface is an added advantage.
• Computer literate preferable in Microsoft office/CAD software/PCB design software.
