We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is open to no experience as well as developers with 1–2 years of experience. You’ll work on small to moderately complex features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn how to deliver reliable, maintainable software in a fast-moving environment. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, this is a great opportunity to grow your technical skills and contribute to impactful projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and building High-Performance, Scalable Systems

• Perform unit testing and support basic integration testing

What You’ll Learn

• Real-world software development using modern tech stacks like Java, Spring Boot, and WebFlux
• Backend engineering practices, including RESTful API design, system integration, and asynchronous processing
• Databases & caching: understanding SQL/NoSQL, Redis, and optimizing data flow
• Source control and workflows: Git branching strategy, pull request best practices, and code review etiquette
• Cloud basics and DevOps workflows (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, deployment processes)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

For No experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or graduating soon)
• Basic understanding of at least one programming language (Java or Go preferred)
• Familiar with databases, REST APIs, or other backend fundamentals through coursework or projects
• Strong willingness to learn, follow team standards, and adapt based on feedback
• 1–2 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development
• Proficient in Java or Go and familiar with frameworks like Spring Boot
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and tools like Kafka, Redis, or Git
• Able to deliver features with minimal bugs and follow development best practices
• Understands basic technical design and can identify simple requirement gaps or contradictions

Nice to Have (For All Levels)

• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, or basic testing frameworks
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Personal or open-source projects that demonstrate your initiative
