Job summary

A reputable accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an accountant to handle a full set of accounts, including AP/AR entries, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess experience in accounting software and effective communication skills to liaise with clients, auditors, and tax agents. Additional knowledge in E-invoicing is a plus. This role offers a dynamic environment with varied responsibilities aimed at assisting clients with their financial needs.

• Handle a full set of accounts, including AP and AR entries.
• Prepare and close monthly accounts.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax agents.

Job description

To handle a full set of accounts using the accounting software system. Able to handle all AP and AR entries and close the monthly accounts. Able to handle the yearly Profit and Loss accts. E-invoice knowledge will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entries to accounting system
• Liaise with clients, auditor, tax agents etc
• Administrative tasks
• Ad-hoc assignment from time to time

• Sorting, processing and scanning & filling of documents
• Prepare full set of accounts using system
• Perform accurate data entries into accounting system
• Preparation of quotations, tax invoices, payroll schedule
• Liaise with clients to clarify on tax invoices and payments
• Assist in perform SST return and liaise with auditor and tax agent
