A leading insurance provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee strategic IT projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on IT within the insurance sector. Responsibilities include managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables, while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. This position also involves reporting to upper management and promoting best practices in project governance.
The Project Manager main function is to manage organization’s key projects. Responsibilities include the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing of the projects. The Project Manager will work directly with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the agreed time, scope and budget. The Project Manager prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
This role reports to the Head of IT PMO, and would also requires to provide support and adequate assistance in the area of Project Management governance and other responsibilities related to PMO functions, where deemed necessary.
