The IT Operations Executive (Junior) supports daily IT operations, end-user support, system maintenance, and basic IT projects. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or junior candidates who are eager to learn, support business users, and grow their IT operations and project exposure.
IT Support & Daily Operations
Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
Assist users with PCs, laptops, printers, email, and business applications.
Handle IT helpdesk requests and ensure timely issue resolution.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT or vendors when required.
Account & Access Support
Assist in creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts for email, ERP, and internal systems.
Support staff onboarding and offboarding activities from an IT perspective.
Help maintain proper access permissions following company policies.
System Maintenance
Assist with software updates, patches, and basic system maintenance.
Perform routine checks to ensure systems are running properly.
Support basic backup and recovery tasks.
Project Support & UAT Testing
Assist in IT projects, system upgrades, and new system implementations.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by executing test cases and recording results.
Report system issues or bugs identified during UAT to senior IT or vendors.
Provide basic support during system go-live and post-implementation periods.
Documentation
Assist in preparing and updating IT documentation such as SOPs, user guides, and manuals.
Help document system changes, common issues, and troubleshooting steps.
Support preparation of IT documentation for audits or internal reviews.
User Training & Guidance
Provide basic guidance to staff on Microsoft Office, email, and internal systems.
Help prepare simple user guides and FAQs for common IT issues.
Other Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including cross-team collaboration.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
Interest in IT support, systems, and learning new technologies.
Basic knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
Exposure to ERP systems or cloud platforms is a plus.
Willingness to learn and take guidance.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
1+ years of experience in SharePoint / Office 365 administration.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, including troubleshooting, end-user support, and IT asset management.
Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including executing test cases, logging issues, and supporting system validation prior to go-live.
Experience in IT documentation preparation, such as SOPs, user manuals, system guides, and change documentation.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an added advantage.
