Our client EP Manufacturing Berhad is seeking an IT Manager / Assistant IT Manager to join their team!

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance. With a focus on system reliability, information security, and compliance, you will continuously contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

What you'll be doing?

Maintain IT Infrastructure: Manage and oversee the company's IT network, servers, internet connectivity, and overall IT infrastructure.

Ensure System Stability: Guarantee that IT systems are stable, secure, reliable, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Manage Security and Compliance: Handle antivirus, system security backups, access controls, and software licensing compliance.

Monitor and Support: Monitor system performance, security logs, and compliance‑related controls, and provide day‑to‑day IT operational support and technical guidance to internal users.

Coordinate with Vendors: Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and compliance.

Support IT Projects: Assist the Head of IT in ERP/MES enhancements, IT projects, and new system implementations.

Travel for Projects: Occasionally travel for project support or site visits.

Document and Report: Prepare documentation and reports related to IT operations, security, and compliance.

Who are they looking for?

IT Expertise: Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5-8 years of hands‑on experience in IT management, network, or system administration.

ERP/MES Experience: Exposure to ERP, MES, or enterprise system implementation projects is an added advantage.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with IT compliance, internal controls, and basic audit requirements in a corporate environment.

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Chinese (read, write, and speak) for communication with China stakeholders/clients.

Skills: Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Travel Willingness: Willing to travel occasionally.
