This is a hands‑on technical management role within a large, regional shared services environment, supporting business‑critical systems at scale. You’ll have real ownership of enterprise infrastructure, balancing daily operational accountability with continuous improvement and modernization initiatives. The role offers exposure to complex, multi‑site environments where infrastructure stability, resilience, and delivery directly impact the business.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, leading from the front on infrastructure operations while driving projects such as cloud adoption, virtualization, and platform upgrades. This is not a purely strategic or people‑only role; it’s designed for a technical leader who wants depth, influence, and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations of enterprise IT infrastructure (network, servers, data centres, storage, cloud)
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity across environments
• Lead infrastructure initiatives including cloud migration, virtualization, upgrades, and refresh cycles
• Manage vendors, service providers, contracts, and operational SLAs
• Plan capacity, manage infrastructure budgets, and support long‑term scalability
• Troubleshoot complex issues, drive root‑cause analysis, and implement improvements
• Enforce infrastructure security controls and compliance standards in collaboration with security teams
• Translate business requirements into practical, supportable infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical leadership and hands‑on mentoring to the infrastructure team

What you bring

• 7+ years’ experience across infrastructure operations (systems, network, cloud, security)
• Strong hands‑on exposure to Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects end‑to‑end
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and DR planning
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and technical teams
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, regional environment with multiple priorities
• Malaysian citizen or Malaysian Permanent Resident (role is not open to sponsorship)
