Inventory Planning Manager (SEA) is responsible to manage inventory planning functions of organizations located in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam belong to MSA, MS, IS & LS verticals. The successful candidate will be able to adapt and understand evolving customer expectations, and changes in organizational priorities. This role requires to support/achieve supply chain KPI targets of SEA entities. Key Performance indicators for this position include On-time delivery, Supplier Late Backlog, Inventory turnover and Management.

Key accountabilities as follow:
Supply Planning:
  • Manage stock availability and optimum supply of inventory to SEA DCs ensuring timely replenishment of inventory to meet revenue commitments.
  • Understand risks of supply, conduct timely analysis, and implement recovery plans to mitigate business risks.
  • Actively participate in S & Ops process. Work closely with demand planning team and commercial leaders to provide input to set an operational forecast for the business.
  • Closely monitor MRP performance and take necessary timely action to maintain an accurate supply plan.
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional leaders/teams and external suppliers to deliver business metrics.
  • Responsible for data crunching & analysis and facilitate data driven decision making.
  • Responsible for driving standard work and supply planning process improvement in SEA.
  • Setup and validate to ensure high accuracy of planning parameters are maintained in ERP for finished products.
Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory health (slow moving, obsolete, phase in-phase out) and provide visibility to stakeholders for inventory projection and action to achieve inventory target.
  • Identify SEA E&O and follow through on disposition and reduction opportunities. Drive root cause analysis and CI to prevent new occurrence.
  • Continuously review and refine part setups to achieve optimum inventory performance.
Purchasing Management:
  • Responsible for driving standardization and implementation of overall purchasing processes, policies, and procedures across SEA region.
  • Manage and drive suppliers’ performance on quality, cost and delivery based on agreement.
  • Responsible for negotiation with suppliers on pricing and payment terms and ensure good quality of services and goods are procured and delivered.
  • Work with Suppliers and Finance team to resolve any discrepancies of invoicing & payment issues.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Education Qualification:
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Engineering / Business & Management or equivalent.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s), MBA is an added advantage
Technical Competence & Skills:
  • Proven multinational leadership track record
  • Strong skills in mentoring, coaching and team development
  • Effective liaison capabilities to act as the communication bridge between demand planning, global hub leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively manage team members located across SEA countries
  • Ability to understand timely business needs and deploy strategies to achieve business needs
  • A good team player, proactive and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and hands-on.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skill; good analysis and interpersonal skills.
  • Process oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certified
  • Min. 5 - 8 years' relevant experience in Inventory Planning and Management, Supply chain planning, Oracle R12, International Trade, familiar with ISO 900I :2015 advantages, Microsoft Power BI, Strategic Planning, Arkieva or relevant forecasting safety stock tools.
  • Supervisory experience in managing a supply chain team in SEA driving KPIs
