INTERIOR DESIGNER (Min 2-3 Years Experience)

We offer competitive compensation, including a fixed salary and commission + Extra Project Allowance.

About the role

You will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetics and functionality of commercial and residential spaces, collaborating closely with clients to bring their visions to life and offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects.

Extra Project Allowance + Incentive rate up to 10%. Potential earning up to RM10,000.00 or more. (Depends on project and performance)

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences

Developing innovative and practical interior design concepts and solutions

Preparing detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings

Selecting and sourcing appropriate furniture, fixtures, and finishes

Coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of design plans

Providing ongoing support and addressing client queries throughout the design and construction process

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in interior design

What we're looking for

Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the residential sectors

Familiar with AI House software

Strong technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D modelling

Excellent space planning, colour, and material selection abilities

Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills

Outstanding communication and client-facing skills

Proficiency in project management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
