We are seeking a dedicated Inspector of Works (IOW) to join our construction team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The successful candidate will supervise daily site activities, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, monitor quality and safety, and document inspections to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of workmanship, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure contractors adhere to safety regulations and project requirements.
• Identify defects, issue non-conformance reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and site activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Provide standing supervision for critical construction activities.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and safety practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
