Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified doctor to manage patient assessments and provide medical care within the Inpatient Departments. Candidates must hold an MBBS/MD or equivalent degree with 3-5 years of experience in the field. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, and additional languages such as Mandarin are a plus. The role involves collaboration with consultants, writing medical reports, and participation in accreditation and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Certification(s) in BLS/ACLS/ALS/ATLS/PALS/NRP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and request investigations.
• Provide professional medical care in the Inpatient Departments.
• Collaborate with the medical consultant for patient management.
• Participate in clinical education and training of staff.
• Engage in marketing initiatives by the Hospital.

Fluent in English

Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)

Job description

Responsible for initial assessment, requesting investigations, analysing the results, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Renders professional medical care for any patient seeking treatment in the Inpatient Departments. Medical care will be in compliance with the established guidelines, policy and procedures.

Initiates prompt referral to the Consultant as and when required by the patient’s condition.

Assist the medical consultant when required immediate treatment and management of the patient.

Provide medical support when required to transfer a patient to another facility locally.

To write medical reports on patient’s condition as required for insurance, medico-legal and etc.

Take part in accreditation process, developing policies and training of staff.

Involve in clinical medical education and clinical nursing education.

To take part in marketing initiatives by the Hospital.

Any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least MBBS/MD or any degree of equivalent.
• At least 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably senior specialized in Healthcare - Doctor/Diagnosis or equivalent.
• Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin would be an added benefit).
• Preferably possess Certification(s) ie: BLS/ACLS/ALS/ATLS/PALS/NRP.
