Office 365 Automation Developer Role

ROLE: Infrastructure Engineer DEPARTMENT: Automation Operations FUNCTION: End User Services REPORTS TO: Automation Operations Lead SCOPE: Global

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure engineers that has a strong interest in solving infrastructure problems through code and to automate anything and everything. Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining hybrid orchestration, monitoring and toolsets used within the groups. (System Center Orchestrator/Operations manager/Office 365 monitoring and Self-service portals)
• Responsible for delivering automation from infrastructure scripts to workflows/jobs to Self-service portal.
• Drives and delivers automate-at-start initiative with stakeholders/development/engineering leads.
• Ability to think outside of the box and create creative solutions to infrastructure problems.
• Influence and drive the transformation of the Operations team by driving efficiencies in day to day grind and delivering time back through tactical scripts and strategic toolsets.

General Skills

• Expert knowledge in several languages such as Powershell/DSC, Python, C#
• Expert knowledge and experience in Operating Systems - Windows Server primarily, Unix/Linux skillsets are good to have.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft SQL for constructing Queries/Views/ETL jobs.
• Hands‑on experience in managing Microsoft System Center (esp. Orchestrator and Operations Manager).
• Experience with managing Office 365 Suite and on-prem Microsoft collaboration suites (Exchange online/Sharepoint/Skype for Business/OneDrive for Business etc).
• Experience with managing Office 365 APIs and on-prem products (Exchange Web Services/GraphAPI/REST APIs)
• Good to have - have worked with other monitoring and integrating toolsets, eg. BMC/Dynatrace etc.
• Good to have - have worked with data analytics tools such as Splunk/ElasticSearch and similar.
• Good to have - Web development & Javascript framework (HTML/CSS/React JS)
