  • Ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers.
  • Keep the department fast, efficient, and cost‑effective for the store.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and empathetically.
  • Actively work towards fulfilling the store’s four core tasks.
Your assignment
  • Ensure the checkout is fully equipped throughout the day and be ready to help customers when needed.
  • Make customer payment easy through confidence and knowledge.
  • Know your level of authorisation to resolve payment problems and recognise when to escalade to higher authority, passing on relevant information for them to handle the customer effectively.
  • Offer solutions to frequently asked questions to improve the future shopping experience.
  • Use the till to accurately register products and payments according to given routines.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for visitors and colleagues at all times.
Qualifications
  • Possess a cheerful, pleasant personality with a positive mindset.
  • Customer service minded, sales driven, and motivated to work in a vibrant retail environment.
  • Physically fit and hands‑on.
