Job description

As the ICT Coordinator at Hospital Lam Wah Ee

you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective IT support and solutions to all staff. This full-time role is based on Penang Island and will be vital in ensuring the Hospital's technology systems run smoothly to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

• Provide first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
• Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, software and peripherals
• Coordinate and oversee the work of external IT vendors and service providers
• Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect the Hospital's systems and data
• Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of IT systems and applications
• Contribute to the planning and development of the hospital's IT infrastructure and strategy
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar IT support or coordination role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff at all levels
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
