Human Resources HR Executive / Senior HR Executive – TikTok Shop Agency

We are looking for an HR Executive to manage the end-to-end recruitment, people operations, and culture building for our TikTok Shop agency. This role will work closely with management to support rapid team growth, performance management, and ensure compliance with the Employment Act and Malaysian labour laws, while building a strong internal culture aligned with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for all roles, including:
    • Live Stream Hosts
    • Content Creators / Video Editors
    • Affiliate Executives & Creators
    • Key Account Executives / Managers
    • Operations & Support Teams
    • Partner with department heads to plan manpower needs and define role requirements
    • Source candidates via job portals, social media, referrals, and talent pipelines
    • Coordinate interviews, assessments, offers, and onboarding
    • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documents
  2. Employment Act & HR Compliance
    • Ensure all HR processes comply with the Employment Act 1955 and relevant labour regulations
    • Draft, review, and manage employment contracts (full-time, part-time, internship, freelance)
    • Advise management on HR matters, disciplinary actions, and employee relations
    • Manage probation confirmation, contract renewal, performance warnings, and termination processes
    • Maintain proper HR documentation and employee records
  3. Performance Management & KPI Management
    • Work with management to develop and implement KPIs, OKRs, or performance frameworks
    • Track employee performance, probation KPIs, and confirmation outcomes
    • Coordinate performance review cycles (monthly / quarterly)
    • Support department heads in setting clear expectations and accountability
    • Assist in managing underperformance and improvement plans (PIP)
  4. Culture, Employer Branding & Engagement
    • Drive and manage company culture initiatives aligned with business direction
    • Plan and coordinate internal activities such as:
      • Townhalls
      • Team sharing sessions
      • Company updates & announcements
    • Support employer branding efforts (careers page, social media hiring content, internal communications)
    • Assist in improving employee engagement, morale, and retention
    • Act as a bridge between management and employees to maintain healthy communication
  5. HR Operations & People Support
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Maintain HR databases, employee files, and HR trackers
    • Handle employee inquiries related to contracts, leave, attendance, and policies
    • Support manpower planning and organisational structure improvements
    • Assist management in developing HR policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in agency, e-commerce, startup, or media environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Employment Act & Malaysian labour laws (must-have)
  • Experience managing recruitment for multiple roles simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Strong communication, coordination, and people management skills

  • Experience managing performance frameworks (KPIs / OKRs)
  • Experience running townhalls or internal engagement activities
