A leading manufacturer in Gombak, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced HR Officer to oversee the recruitment process, collaborate with hiring managers, and manage HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and 2-3 years of experience. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, preparing documentation for new hires, and maintaining compliance with local labor laws. This role offers an opportunity to impact the HR function significantly.
In charge for overall spectrum of recruitment, sourcing, screening, interview in coordination with concerned department.
Work closely with hiring managers to keep abreast of their recruitment needs.
Prepare bank letter, typhoid letter, offer letter and other required letter upon request.
Work closely with recruitment team for large-scale recruitment projects as walk-in interview, career fair and establish interactive relationship with technical colleges, universities via campus recruitment or career talk, or through external stakeholders such as government agencies.
To conduct orientation, do onboarding and prepare file for the new hires.
Prepare and update job descriptions in coordination with the concerned department.
Post jobs on internal and external job portals such as Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Indeed etc.
To update HR Executive and Manager on all issues, decisions and communication with any external party within the plant or external party.
Generate statistical headcount, manpower movement, and weekly hiring reports etc.
To undertake any ad-hoc project or any other related task that may be assigned to you from time to time by your superior.
QualificationsMinimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or any other related disciplines. with 2-3 years experience
Strong skills in HR Management and Human Resources (HR) practices
Proficient in HR Operations and implementation of HR Policies
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance standards
