Job summary

A global logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated HR professional to optimize HR services aligned with business strategies. This role involves managing payroll processing, attendance reports, and recruitment activities, ensuring data quality in HR systems, and providing support in training and HR functions. Candidates should have a diploma in relevant fields and 2-3 years of experience in similar roles, with proficiency in Microsoft applications and knowledge of Malaysia Employment Acts.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in HR roles.
  • Familiar with statutory guidelines: EPF, SOSCO, Income Tax & HRDF.

  • Assist in payroll processing and staff claims.
  • In-charge of daily attendance report and data entry of leave applications.
  • Assist in preparation of HR related monthly reports.
  • Open and maintain filing records.
  • Administer and maintain local & global HRIS.
  • Assist in recruitment and selection activities.
  • Assist in training activities including arrangement and evaluation.
  • Provide administrative support on all HR functions.

About the Job:

Customizes and optimizes the global HR policies and services for the entity, based on the business requirements and HR strategy of the entity, in order to realize a quantitative and qualitative well-equipped and motivated workforce for current and future business challenges. A single point of contact for all HR related tools and processes. Day to day execution of HR support.

Responsibilities:
LOB Scopes:
  • Assist in payroll processing and staff claims
  • In-charge of daily attendance report including data entry of leave applications/ absenteeism and follow-up on absenteeism
  • Assist in preparation of HR related monthly reports
  • Opening and maintaining the accuracy and proper filing manner of all filing records
  • Administration and maintenance of local & global HRIS
  • Assist in recruitment and selection activities from collecting resumes, arrangement interview and preparing new staffs’ on-boarding.
  • Assist in training activities which include training arrangement, training record and training evaluation.
  • Provide administrative support on all other HR functions
  • Contribute to other developing of the department
Regional Process and Tools:
  • Participate in Global Process & Tools projects.
  • Provide support to the RPTM for Global HR System data quality assurance.
  • Support RPTM in working with other HR functions specialist (C&B, Talent Acquisition, Talent Dev, Labor etc..) to ensure the good usage of the Global HR System, and reports their needs or evolution demands
  • Support RPTM in collaborating with local HR teams to implement/update global HR processes.
Requirements:
  • Possesses at least a Diploma, disciplines of Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management would be an advantage.
  • Preferable with 2-3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, particularly in Word and Excel
  • Familiar with Malaysia Employment Acts 1955
  • Familiar with statutory guidelines, eg. EPF, SOSCO, Income Tax & HRDF
